Cold Fork Buffet- Hazelmere

The Event

This was a party for a very special lady’s 100th birthday, and we don’t often cater for such milestone events. When we asked her son what they wanted, he simply said, “She’s made it to 100; she can have whatever she desires.” And that’s exactly what we did. The celebration took place at the Hazlemere Parish Councils Cedar Barn and we were thoroughly impressed by how beautiful, clean, and well-maintained the venue was.

We set up a small bar area, mostly serving soft drinks as it was a daytime lunch. However, we made sure anyone who fancied a glass of wine with their meal had it topped up. It was a lovely day, and we were delighted to be part of such an important milestone in her life.

The Food

We provided a cold fork buffet featuring all of our customers’ favourite dishes. We served: coronation chicken with fresh mango, apricot and sage pork slices, Mediterranean vegetable quiche, and Thai baked salmon, all accompanied by a selection of salads and hot, buttery potatoes. For guests with a sweet tooth, we offered a choice of pavlova, French apple tart, and triple chocolate cheesecake – a hard choice, right?
