The Event
An afternoon meal for a delightful couple celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary took place in Sefton Barn at the Horse Trust in Speen, where we are proud to be a preferred caterer. This charming venue boasts characterful features, high ceilings, and exposed beams, along with a lovely outdoor space and the added delight of numerous horses.
As guests arrived, we served champagne and ensured the wine was regularly topped up at the tables. Following the meal, we offered tea and filtered coffee accompanied by mint chocolates, providing the perfect conclusion to the celebration.
The Food
We provided a hot buffet featuring beef bourguignon, chicken and mushrooms in a white wine sauce, and lamb moussaka, all accompanied by rice and a selection of salads and breads. For dessert, we served a New York-style baked cheesecake topped with raspberries, homemade berry compote, and cream.
