The Event
We had the pleasure of catering a fantastic 80th birthday celebration for a truly lovely gentleman. Held at Pipers Corner School, in Great Kingshill, the event featured a relaxed and cheerful BBQ, with guests enjoying the rare treat of perfect weather. Entertainment included a wonderful magician who amazed everyone with his tricks, adding a touch of magic to the day. In the evening, the celebration continued with a lively DJ and disco, bringing plenty of dancing and laughter. It was a joyful and memorable day all around.
The Food
The food for the celebration was a real highlight, beginning with a delicious selection of canapés that were circulated among the guests as they arrived. This was followed by a plentiful BBQ offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Guests enjoyed high-quality sausages and juicy beef burgers, alongside flavourful Turkish chicken skewers, Thai baked salmon, and tasty halloumi and vegetable skewers. The BBQ was complemented by an array of fresh salads and a generous spread of condiments, creating a vibrant and satisfying feast. To finish, there was a beautifully presented pudding bar featuring rich chocolate brownies, zesty lemon mousse, and light, fruity berry pavlovas – the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
