Bowl Food – High Wycombe

The Event

We catered a workplace Christmas party with a focus on keeping things simple, flexible, and cost-effective while still delivering a great experience. The menu was served as bowl food, hot-boxed in advance due to limited on-site facilities, and presented ready for guests to help themselves. Desserts were left out on disposable platters for easy self-service, allowing the event to run smoothly without the need for additional equipment or staff. Using disposables throughout helped keep costs down while still creating a relaxed, enjoyable celebration for everyone.

The food

Guests were served a choice of comforting bowl food, including zesty ginger chicken with sesame noodles topped with fresh coriander, rich beef chilli served with rice, cheese, sour cream, and a fresh lime wedge, or a hearty vegan bean chilli with rice and the same toppings. To finish, we left a tempting selection of desserts for guests to enjoy at their leisure, including French apple tart, baked vanilla cheesecake fingers, lemon tarts, and chocolate brownie fingers—an easy, crowd-pleasing end to the evening.
