We recently provided catering for a memorial event held at our client’s beautiful home, with guests gathering in a marquee to remember and celebrate.
For this event, we provided a full bar service using our new bar hire option, setting up and running the bar using the customer’s own drinks. This allowed the hosts to enjoy the day with their guests while we took care of the service.
Guests were welcomed with a selection of freshly prepared canapés on arrival, followed by a relaxed family-style lunch. Rather than a cold fork buffet each table was served with sharing platters and bowls, creating a more informal and social dining experience.
The menu included Salmon, Spinach & Asparagus Quiche made with homemade shortcrust pastry, Coronation Chicken with Fresh Mango, Herby Tabbouleh with Pomegranate, Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Salad, and a fresh green salad.
To finish, we created a dessert table filled with homemade favourites, including a beautifully moist Chocolate & Strawberry Gâteau, Zesty Lemon Tarts, homemade cheesecake, and our indulgent gooey chocolate brownies.
It was a pleasure to be part of this special gathering and to provide the food, drinks service, and support needed to help the family enjoy time with their guests.
