Wedding- Cookham

The Event

We had the pleasure of catering a marquee wedding for one of our staff member’s sons. It was a real privilege to be part of such a special day for their family.

We set up a kitchen tent on site with hired ovens, fridges, and prep tables, so everything was ready to go. From serving arrival drinks to laying the tables and keeping the day running smoothly, our team worked hard to make sure it all came together.

It was a lovely celebration to be involved in, and it meant even more knowing we were supporting one of our own.

The Food

Guests were welcomed with a selection of our canapés, which are always a favourite at weddings. We served our classic arancini with garlic and lemon aioli, crisp courgette fritters with a touch of sriracha mayo, delicate Thai prawn baskets, spinach and feta parcels with sweet chilli sauce, and our ever-popular sticky satay chicken. A mix of flavours and textures that offered something for everyone and set the tone for a delicious celebration.

For the main course, the couple chose to share one of their family favourites – Pieminister pies. We served them with buttery mash, a choice of mushy peas, and a topping of crispy onions. It was hearty, comforting food that went down brilliantly with the guests and reflected the couple’s wish for a relaxed, family-style meal.

To finish, guests had a choice between a light and zesty lemon mousse or a rich chocolate mousse, each served with a piece of homemade buttery shortbread. A simple but indulgent way to round off the meal.
