The Event
We recently had the pleasure of catering a beautiful wedding in a stunning church in Hazelmere, where 80 guests gathered to celebrate. Our team circulated a selection of delicious canapés before serving a full sit-down dinner, followed by a decadent dessert table that everyone loved. The evening was made even more memorable when the bride’s parents surprised their guests with singing waiters—such a joy to work alongside! Of course, we couldn’t resist sneaking out of the kitchen to catch a glimpse of their fantastic performance, which had the whole room smiling and singing along.
The Food
Guests enjoyed a range of canapés, including porcini mushroom arancini with aioli, sticky teriyaki sausages, bacon and cheese stuffed potatoes, asparagus and Parma ham swirls, and courgette fritters with sriracha mayo. For the main course, there was a choice of classic coq au vin, mushroom-stuffed pork tenderloin, or a vegetable and feta pithivier, all served with crispy new potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and roasted vine tomatoes. To finish, we created a dessert table inspired by Rachel’s roots in classic French pâtisserie, all made from scratch, featuring rich chocolate roulades, delicate lemon gâteau, and a beautiful strawberry fraisier cake.
