One of the things we’re most proud of is how much we make ourselves. In a world where it’s easy to buy ready-made food, we choose to do things differently.

All of our sandwich fillings are made in-house, prepared fresh rather than coming out of a tub. Our sausage rolls are made by us, not

simply baked from frozen. But what we’re probably proudest of is our cakes – they’re all made from scratch in our own kitchen.

Recently I was at a cash and carry and saw shelves filled with pre-made cakes. They’re the same ones you’ll often recognise in garden centers and many cafés. They’re convenient, they look the part, and they save time.

But you won’t find them on our buffet tables.

For us, baking our own cakes means better flavour, better quality, and the freedom to create things properly rather than simply opening a box. It takes more time and more effort, but we believe it makes a real difference to the food we serve.

When you order from us, you’re getting food that’s been prepared by hand, not picked from a catalogue.
