As a catering company with years of experience, we’ve had the privilege of working in some amazing local venues, each offering something unique to make your event unforgettable. In this blog, we’re sharing our top recommended local venues that we know and trust, ensuring your event is not only memorable but a resounding success. Let’s dive into the spaces we love!

 

Sefton’s Barn – Speen

Sefton’s Barn is a stunning Grade II listed tithe barn set in the picturesque Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, located between Princes Risborough and High Wycombe. Surrounded by 200 acres of farmland, the barn offers a unique and charming venue for any event.

The barn retains its original features, with a beautiful outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy the countryside. It can accommodate up to 100 guests for a reception-style event or 60 for a seated meal. With parking for 50 cars, it’s a great choice for both small and large gatherings. The venue is available for hire at £300 on weekdays and £450 on weekends.

Although there’s no on-site bar, we often set up a drinks table where guests can enjoy drinks provided by you. As the preferred caterers, we’ve hosted numerous events here and appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, which allows us to serve plated meals, hot buffets, and cold buffets with ease.

 

Ray Bradley Hall – Tylers GreenVH History – TGVH

Located in the heart of Tylers Green, near High Wycombe, Ray Bradley Hall is a vibrant and modern community venue, serving both Tylers Green and the neighboring village of Penn. Recently refurbished, this spacious hall features a stage at one end, separate serving counters for the kitchen and bar, and a capacity of up to 150 people. The hall is bright, clean, and well-maintained, offering a welcoming atmosphere for any event.

The venue also boasts a newly equipped kitchen and a small bar/kitchen room, perfect for catering needs. There is on-site parking available, adding convenience for guests. The cost to hire Ray Bradley Hall, including the kitchen and small bar/kitchen, is £33 per hour (excluding Friday and Saturday evenings) and £43 per hour on Friday and Saturday nights. This makes it an affordable and flexible option for your event.

While the hall doesn’t have an on-site bar, the small bar/kitchen room provides an ideal space for us to serve beverages provided by you. With full access to the well-equipped kitchen, we can easily prepare and serve plated meals, hot buffets, and cold buffets to ensure a seamless dining experience for your guests.

 

Radnage Village Hall- Radnage

Radnage Village Hall is a welcoming and straightforward venue, situated in a quiet, rural setting that offers a peaceful backdrop for any event. The hall features a spacious patio area with bench seating, providing a lovely spot for guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The patio is adjacent to a large playing field, offering plenty of room for children to run around and play, making it an excellent choice for family-oriented gatherings.

There is also a generous on-site car park with ample space for guests, ensuring easy access to the venue. With a capacity of up to 120 guests, Radnage Village Hall is perfect for both intimate events and larger celebrations.

The hire rate for the hall is £440 for a full day (from 9:00 AM to 11:45 PM), with various discounts available for local residents, as well as flexible hourly rates for smaller events.

The hall comes equipped with a modern, professional-standard kitchen, making it ideal for catering. We can easily prepare and serve plated meals, hot buffets, and cold buffets, ensuring a smooth dining experience for your guests. Whether you’re planning a casual get-together or a more formal event, Radnage Village Hall provides a convenient and versatile setting for your celebration.

 

Marlow Rowing Club- Marlow

Marlow Rowing Club offers a versatile space suitable for a range of meetings, events, and gatherings. The main highlight of the venue is its spacious balcony, which overlooks the River Thames, providing a relaxed setting for any event. The room can be arranged in a variety of layouts to suit different needs and is equipped with three large screens and an audio system. It has a capacity of up to 60 people for a seated event or 100 for a buffet or DJ party.

The club also features a fully stocked bar, run by a professional team of staff who are on hand to assist throughout the event.

As recommended caterers for the venue, we think Marlow Rowing Club is a solid local option for those looking to host an event in the area. With its riverside location and adaptable facilities, it provides a convenient and practical choice for both business and social occasions.

 

Cedar Barn- Hazelmere

Cedar Barn is a versatile venue, available for hire throughout the week, perfect for business meetings, conferences, parties, family gatherings, and more. The venue has recently undergone maintenance and offers high-quality sound and

visual facilities, along with a well-equipped kitchen and three cloakrooms. The spacious hall

includes 60 comfortable chairs and ten 6′ x 2’6″ tables, with ample free parking outside.

We think Cedar Barn is an excellent choice for smaller events like birthday parties or intimate weddings. The hire charge is £18 per hour, including kitchen use, or £15 per hour for Hazlemere parishioners. While the venue doesn’t have a bar, we can provide a dedicated drinks table, serving drinks that you supply, to enhance your event.
